The department is equipped with spark-erosion machinery, machining centre and numerical control turning and milling, tool makers carry out dowel changes, small repairs and routine die maintenance.

Before starting production, general check is carried out on each die and if necessary, the dowel or date marking is changed. 

After production and before storing the die, a further general check is carried out.
